On this month’s episode of The Sailing Show, Abby Ehler talks to Libby Greenhalgh, Dee Caffari and Carolijn Brouwer before the final leg of the Volvo Ocean Race. With a thrilling finish in store as the fleet race towards The Hague, Abby asks how they feel about this epic race now that they have experienced mixed gender teams and with news of changes to the next edition of the race. Will women still have opportunities on every boat, is mixed gender teams the way to go or do women need to manage their own teams?  We also hear how this leg presents unique challenges as the fleet navigates around Scandinavia and with three teams on equal points it will produce a nail-biting conclusion.
