Britain’s Rachel Bower’s boxing career started late but she soon became England’s National Champion, fighting her corner for the Metropolitan Police, before turning her talents to coaching both men and women.

Rachel Bower is a former National Champion and England representative. After ten years of competing she turned her hand to coaching and has quickly worked her way up to become and England Support Coach while still volunteering with Earlsfield Amateur Boxing Club and the Metropolitan Police Boxing Team. Rachel’s fighting highlights are winning the National Championships at the Echo Arena in Liverpool with the only stoppage of the finals. It was also the first year men and women boxed on the same stage. Her coaching highlights are being selected to train a celebrity for BBC’s Sport Relief and coaching my boyfriend, an Amateur super heavyweight. Rachel teaches and does one on one coaching at 12 Rounds Boxing. She mobilizes the Metropolitan Police boxing team and coaches to deliver ‘Get Started with Boxing’ with The Princes Trust where we they the sport to teach young people valuable life skills.
Rachel’s amateur club is Earlsfield ABC.
England Boxing, the National Governing Body in England, has invested in female boxing and coaching.
