This week Christen and Kara Lynn chat with Cheryl Preheim, news anchor for the NBC affiliate WXIA-TV in Atlanta. Cheryl came from 9 News Denver where she worked for 18 years. While in Denver, she worked closely with Olympic swimmer Missy Franklin. Cheryl has been to the last four Olympics and we talk to her about the impact that these amazing female athletes have had on her. She is also passionate about being a positive influence in her community. Cheryl started Brave Conquers Fear, after two of her four children faced serious health challenges in the span of six weeks. She does “profiles in courage” type stories to inspire and empower the community.
