Fitness for Offshore Sailors: Q&A with Liz Wardley; Ep 4

Team SCA

The Volvo Ocean Race will now feature mixed teams but how will that impact women’s fitness requirements?

In episode 4 of this series on Offshore Sailor’s Fitness, Volvo Ocean Race veteran Liz Wardley, who is also a personal trainer, tells us how mixed teams may effect women’s fitness preparations. Liz is working in the Volvo Ocean Race boatyard in Lisbon preparing for the 2017-8 Edition of the Volvo Ocean Race. Liz has also perfected the art of StandUp Paddle-boarding too as well as ocean kayaking; pretty much anything on the water.
