Off the Track is hosted by Mick Swagger of Team Indigenous

Podcast length: 46’52”

On this week’s episode of Off the Track, Mick Swagger from Team Indigenous is joined by Carly Harper aka The Lovely Biertrix. You may recognize her voice as she is a long time Roller Derby announcer who has been in the European announcing scene for a number of years.  Biertrix is from my favorite city in the UK; Manchester, a former skater who founded Rainy City Roller Derby and skated with them for five seasons. She has announced extensively at tournaments across Europe and America, including the Women’s Roller Derby World Cup in 2014 & 2018, 2016 & 2017 WFTDA Division 1 playoffs, 2017 WFTDA championships.  Biertrix was instrumental in bringing the Roller Derby World Cup to Manchester in 2018  with the help of a brilliant team.
