On this week’s episode Mick Swagger talks to Jessica McCarroll aka “Rogue Runner” about making the transition from player to coach. They discuss her journey into coaching and the opportunities she has had to establish herself as a coach.  “Rogue Runner” is a Jammer Coach with Montreal New Skids. Previously skated with London Roller Girls London Brawling for five seasons and also skated at three World Cups with Team England.  She is a Personal Trainer and the founder of Fitness Gone Rogue Roller Derby Fitness, and owner of F. I. T Academy Personal Training Space.  “Rogue Runner #22” has been skating for eight years skating as a Primary Jammer and now looks forward to the upcoming season with her new challenge as a coach. She is also working on building her Roller Derby Fitness business, researching the science behind the sport, and the best way to train for it.
