Managing Your Work Image

Image Expert Janice Hurley explains why and how we should focus on portraying a successful and attractive image in the workplace

WiSP Sports Radio is brought to you by Hyland’s Earache Drops.

The FAB Podcast, hosted by Kristin Ray, is a co-production of Females in Athletic Business & WiSP Sports

Podcast length: 26’52”

On this week’s episode Kristin Ray chats with Professional Image Expert, Janice Hurley. Having worked with many former female athletes on their professional image, Janice talks with Kristin about the two words women should use when framing their work image: successful and attractive. If we strive for those two things, rather than words like “feminine” or “respectable”, we may find it easier to decide how to present ourselves at work, especially in male-dominated environments. She also shares with listeners the pros and cons of dressing an athletic frame and how to do it best.
