At the Extraordinary Sports Parliament of Swiss Olympic, the delegates of the member associations have agreed to the conditions for preparation of a project “Winter Olympic Games in 2026 in Switzerland” and also the financing of this preparation phase.

With a clear majority they have agreed two templates on Extraordinary Sports Parliament of Swiss Olympic, which should pave the way for a Swiss candidacy for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2026.
In the first ballot, the delegates of the Olympic member federations of Swiss Olympic supported the “framework for preparation of a project Winter Olympic Games in 2026 in Switzerland”.
