From arrival to departure; Liz Wardley takes us on a tour of the boatyard to explain the process of refitting a racing yacht for the Volvo Ocean Race

Offshore sailor Liz Wardley continues our series behind the scenes in the Volvo Ocean Race boatyard in Lisbon, Portugal where the VO65 racing yachts are being refitted in preparation for the 2017-8 Edition of this iconic race. Liz was a member of the all women Team SCA crew in the 2014-5 Edition of the race and is aiming to join a crew again. In the meanwhile, she is utilizing all her skills as a sailor as part of the boatyard crew.
